The truth

Well it seems to be getting harder not easier for me. The lack of variety is killing me slowly. I think that I am slowly slipping off the wagon and onto my old habits. The water has slowed, and I'm tired. Absolutely TIRED.

I really feel like slothing around, I don't want to go to work, I just want to lay on the couch and do nothing. This has been in my mind for at least 2 days now.

As its Australia Day tomorrow, my work are having a 'boardshorts' day, were we will dress up today and have a sausage sizzle. I am on the R & R committee, so of course I will be there cooking and helping out, but to then not eat, are you insane? There will be fried onions as well, who could resist fried onions? No human could surely.

So I think I will be in trouble with the grand master of 'the plan' but sometimes I think you have to partake in some small things, tomorrow is another day and all. I know I've had 42 years to have all that food but life is to be enjoyed in moderation and I think I have shown I can do that in these last few weeks. Not saying that my weigh in was great or will be great this week coming but I haven't quit completely ...... YET......

Keep your chins up Sue. You are the one theat has to live with your choices, so make them carefully. Fried onions . . .I'd have a hard time turning away as well.

Don't fall off... maybe change up your routine?? See if that helps?? You can do this. you have had a lot of stressers to deal with and I can totally understand why you'd want to slip, but dont. Drink the water!! mmmmm its good. and stay on the wagon, we are all buddies on the wagon! ;) just see if maybe doing something different would help?

Sue I think you should partake in the bbq, if you will enjoy it...

Life is for living, not feeling guilty. Have the bbq and then maybe a smaller meal for dinner...

You know what is helping me at the moment is listening to "You cna heal your life" on audio cd. It is also on book and a movie...

Yikers, you gonna be in TROUBLE! ;-) But seriously, you can do this-don't quit yet! It's not easy, and certainly not fun, but it is important!

Sue, you only go around once! That is what I always say to remind myself that sometimes we have to indulge. Every diet needs to be broken here and there, otherwise they are too difficult to get through. Too depressing. Allow yourself to fall of the wagon here and there, and it will make staying on it easier in the long run.

INDULGE!

Just plan for the fried onions. Look up the caloric damage for X amount, eat small breakfast/other meals, lots of fluids to fill up...If you keep your other meals to 150 cals, that's 300. Then you have 900 calories for the BBQ--and that allows you to have the onions and NOT go over.

So, really, it's just making it work for the deviation. Enjoy it, it's done, move on.

You can make it work. :)
